“Proper System for Better Education of Students in this Pandemic”

Covid-19 pandemic has affected all people all over the world. And because of this pandemic, education is also deeply affected. Since education is very important, the education system for this pandemic has a lot of challenges. Face-to-face classes hasn’t yet begun and students doesn’t gain as much knowledge in online classes, modality learning, and/or distance learning as face-to-face learning. What do students really need? Does the quality education in the Philippines during pandemic not effective to students?

Students in the country are having a hard time adjusting to the new normal learning system. Some are adopting well but some doesn’t even get to continue their studies due to unemployment for purchasing their family’s needs. Some are unfortunate enough to not be able to purchase and have the resources and gadgets for learning during pandemic. Leaders in our country are also to blame for this. If only they have planned and managed this pandemic accurately and properly, schools would’ve reopened by now. It’s been almost three years of us being quarantined and it’s just getting worse and worse. And Philippines is now the only country in the world that hasn’t yet reopened all schools, some students are even protesting for the return of face-to-face classes.

As we are still quarantined because of the increasing of the Covid-19 cases, leaders in our country haven’t yet approved in reopening all schools in the country. Students are getting tired of this situation and suicide among students are even increasing during this pandemic. Students seeks for the reopening of face-to-face classes and hopes for a better-quality education than modular learning and/or online classes.

  1. I can totally relate to this since I'm also a student. I agree with your point, really. We've been isolated in our homes for two years now yet we still couldn't see any improvement. But on the other hand, I understand why the government haven't yet approved in reopening schools in our country, they don't want to risk us 'cause at this time it's still to dangerous and risky. They have their own reasons why they do such things, let's just respect that. Either way, I really appreicate you for bravely speaking for this matter. Keep up the good work, goodluck!
